Solar Warranty Claim Support

Help With Solar Equipment Warranty Claims

A long product warranty is valuable—but making a claim is not always straightforward.

Manufacturers frequently require fault codes, photographs, serial numbers, monitoring records and diagnostic test results before they will assess a claim. If the original installer is no longer available, customers can be left unsure about who to contact or what information is needed.

Solar Support helps diagnose the problem, gather the required evidence and communicate with the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

Our Warranty Support Process

1
We review the reported problem, system information, error messages and available monitoring data.
2
Remote checks or an on-site inspection may be required to establish whether the issue is related to the equipment, installation, internet connection, system settings or another electrical fault.
3

We gather the information requested by the manufacturer, which may include:

  • Product serial numbers
  • Photographs and videos
  • Error codes
  • System logs
  • Electrical test results
  • Installation and commissioning information
  • Proof of purchase or warranty registration
4
Where possible, we help submit the claim and respond to reasonable technical queries from the manufacturer.
5
If replacement equipment is approved and supplied, we can provide a quotation for removal, installation, configuration and recommissioning.

Important Warranty Information

Warranty approval is always determined by the manufacturer or warranty provider. Solar Support cannot guarantee that a claim will be accepted.

Manufacturer warranties may cover replacement equipment without covering diagnosis, labour, access equipment, delivery, removal, installation or recommissioning. We will explain any known charges before additional work proceeds.

Is Your Original Installer No Longer Available?

You can still ask us to investigate the fault. Send us the equipment details and any documents you have, and we will explain what can be done.
